Digital x-ray imaging has revolutionized diagnostic radiology.

We utilize a modern digital x-ray system for maximum efficiency and lower radiation doses that also provides the highest resolution digital radiographic image available. Bulky, large x-ray printouts are no longer needed. An electronic copy of your pet’s x-ray will be stored in a computer file and can, as needed, also be stored on CD.

Acupuncture is an eastern medicine treatment which has been used for over 4,000 years to prevent and diagnose many types of disease, provide pain control and encourage the body to heal itself. Fine needles are inserted into specific points of the body that are connected with the central nervous system and that trigger a desired physiological response. The process is mostly painless, usually only with some minor discomfort as the needle passes through the skin. We use acupuncture for some major conditions, including musculoskeletal problems, chronic degenerative diseases, allergies, asthma, kidney failure or depressed immune system function. Acupuncture is a healthy alternative to conventional treatments of various anti-inflammatory agents, which are known to have major side effects, or the risks associated with surgery.

Balance Veterinary Center offers dental cleaning under anesthesia.

Anesthesia is usually necessary to achieve the most complete dental cleaning and examination of your pet’s teeth possible.

BVC performs full dental cleanings, treatment for advanced stages of periodontal disease, and minor dental procedures under minimal anesthesia.  When it is time for your pet’s anesthetic dental, BVC uses special techniques to lower the drug doses, reduce pain, and speed recovery safely.

We also provide dental surgery.
